Job Overview

Supervised by the lead advisor, the service advisor (junior advisor) will be responsible for managing accounts of all assigned clients and supporting Drumgoole Financial clients. The service advisor will be assigned clients and serve as their primary point of contact. They will support the senior financial advisor by providing administrative support for clients with more complex accounts. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

Client Account Management 

    1. Work with para-planning tasks, preparing client reports, and financial plans for new and existing clients
    2. Contribute in managing existing client portfolios regarding account changes, investment transactions, scheduling, reports, and other account administration
    3. Coordinate and help administer trading and re-balancing strategies to client investment accounts
    4. Support DFS clients with account transactions, changes and set-ups 
    5. Identify addition planning and investment opportunities for existing DFS clients
    6. Bring complex problems or concerns to Lead Advisor
    7. Attend compliance and continuing education training sessions as required by regulatory agencies and the firm
    8. Comply with company policies, procedures and regulations

Administrative Support 

    1. Manage project work such as data organization, input, and consolidation within various software systems
    2. Work with admin team on daily tasks and workflows (Redtail CRM) related to client support
    3. Contact assigned clients as part of a systematic process and document this in Redtail
    4. Help set up and document processes and procedures for the firm
    5. Conduct general administrative and operational tasks

Client Interactions

    1. Greet clients and associates with a professional, friendly demeanor 
    2. Work with team to onboard clients of a newly acquired firm
    3. Utilize Redtail CRM to maintain business relationships and sales pipeline
    4. Develop client relationships independently
    5. Present 401k plan participant group education sessions

Required Skills & Competencies

  1. Provide excellent customer service to clients over the phone, email and in person in a timely and professional manner
  2. Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact professionally and comfortably with individuals at all levels, personalities and demeanors
  3. Listens and responds effectively to client questions
  4. Knowledge of Redtail or similar CRM preferred
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  6. Is motivated and has the ability to grow and develop into a Lead Advisor role; keeps current in field – continuously learns and grows in field
  7. Self-motivated, proactive and collaborative
  8. Ability to plan and implement and problem solve
  9. Ability to take direction/coaching from senior members of the team towards successful outcomes

Required Education & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree required; economic or finance concentration preferred
  2. Series 66 obtained or positioned to be obtained
  3. A background check may be required

Work Hours & Environment

Standard hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal day business hours. This job currently operates in a highly professional home office environment, with working from home possible. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is largely a sedentary role and may sit or use PC for long periods of time. Bending, reaching or stooping may be necessary for use of filing cabinets or other office cabinets or office machines. Occasional local travel may be required.
